Junior training and games are run on a Monday night across summer October – November (dates vary pending season) in the lead up for Junior State Titles weekend.
Ages from 6-12 train Monday nights 5:00pm – 6:00pm.
Juniors +12:
Older age groups for Junior State Titles will vary training nights based on coaches.
Academy Teams:
Talented players aged 14 – 17 from Northern will be selected into our Academy Squads based on their performance at social touch and Junior State Titles. Players need to be registered and playing for/at Northern to be selected into the squads.
Academy Teams are run alongside the summer and winter social seasons.
Summer: Academy will run on Monday and Wednesday nights. Training at 5:30pm with a game at 6:15pm.

Weather Conditions
If a wet weather or heat wave notice is not posted on our Facebook page, games will progress as scheduled.
In the event of weather impacting games, all team managers will be contacted and a notice will be posted on our Facebook page. A decision to cancel games or change to quarters will be made late in the afternoon to give every opportunity for games to proceed. The only time a game will be called off is if there is lightning in close proximity.
The team contact named on the team registration form is the club’s first point of contact. If changes occur to the draw, or weather conditions necessitate the cancelling of a fixture, we must be able to contact your team. Please ensure your details are current throughout the season by advising the Administrator of any changes.
We are a volunteer-led association and do not have the capacity to answer phone calls about how weather may impact games – please do not call. If a wet weather notice is not posted on our Facebook page, games will progress as scheduled.
Touch football is an outdoor sport, as such the number of rounds played per season may be impacted by the weather. As a volunteer based, not for profit, we do not guarantee a minimum number of rounds.
